Learning Week 2025

Take a look at our smoking and pregnancy presentation as part of our Learning Week in March 2025. We heard from Professor David Tappin, Professor Michael Ussher and Dr Sonya Scott who spoke about smoking cessation in pregnancy, the risks of vaping during pregnancy and the inequalities caused by smoking in Scotland.

Learning Day 2024

ASH Scotland hosted an in-person Learning Day in 2024, where we were joined by Dr Johnathan Coutts, consultant paediatrician from Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children, who spoke about pregnancy and nicotine use.

ASH Scotland is hosting a Learning Event on Tuesday 4 November to explore smoking and vaping during pregnancy. We we will hear from NHS Tayside infant feeding advisor Marianne White and researcher Montse Ballbè i Gibernau from Tobacco Control Unit in the Catalan Institute of Oncology.
